How to Schedule Black Friday and Cyber Monday Posts on X: A 2026 Plan You Can Queue from Telegram
When should you schedule Black Friday and Cyber Monday posts on X?
Write every sale-week post in one sitting by Friday 20 November 2026, then load them into your scheduler in two batches: 23–27 November first, 28 November to 1 December on the 23rd. Two batches matter if your tool has a short scheduling window. Auto X's free plan lets you schedule 7 days ahead, so a post for Cyber Monday can't go in on the 20th. This plan is built around that limit, and it works the same if you use X's own scheduler.
Black Friday falls on 27 November in 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November. ContentStudio's Black Friday guide suggests three to five posts on X on the day itself and having everything scheduled by 20 November. That fits a small account that wants to stay visible without spending sale week glued to the composer.
The 2026 sale-week dates
Sale week runs from Thanksgiving to Giving Tuesday, which is six days. Plan slots for each day that matters to your buyers, not every day by default.
| Date (2026) | Event | What to post |
|---|---|---|
| Mon 23 November | Run-up | Teaser: what's coming and when |
| Wed 25 November | Run-up | Early access or a waitlist link for followers |
| Thu 26 November | Thanksgiving (US) | Optional: a light, no-pitch post |
| Fri 27 November | Black Friday | Launch post plus one reminder later in the day |
| Sat 28 November | Small Business Saturday (US) | A post about who is behind the product |
| Mon 30 November | Cyber Monday | Offer open, then a last-hours call |
| Tue 1 December | Giving Tuesday | Thank-you post, no discount pitch |
A 10-slot plan you can queue in two sittings
Ten slots spread over nine days is enough to be seen without looking like a spam account. Each slot does one job, and no two slots share the same text.
| # | When (audience's time zone) | Job | Media? | Loaded in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Mon 23 Nov, 09:00 | Teaser | Image | Sitting 1 (Fri 20 Nov) |
| 2 | Wed 25 Nov, 12:00 | Early access | None | Sitting 1 |
| 3 | Fri 27 Nov, 08:00 | Black Friday launch | Image | Sitting 1 |
| 4 | Fri 27 Nov, 13:00 | Reminder with a new angle | None | Sitting 1 |
| 5 | Fri 27 Nov, 19:00 | Customer question answered | None | Sitting 1 |
| 6 | Sat 28 Nov, 10:00 | Behind the product | Image | Sitting 2 (Mon 23 Nov) |
| 7 | Sun 29 Nov, 17:00 | Weekend recap, offer still on | None | Sitting 2 |
| 8 | Mon 30 Nov, 08:00 | Cyber Monday open | Image | Sitting 2 |
| 9 | Mon 30 Nov, 18:00 | Last hours | None | Sitting 2 |
| 10 | Tue 1 Dec, 11:00 | Thank-you | None | Sitting 2 |
The plan uses four images, well under the 10 media posts a month listed for Auto X's free plan. That leaves room for the rest of November. The times are a starting point; if you know when your followers reply, use those hours instead. Our X launch week plan uses the same one-sitting idea for a product launch.
How to load it from Telegram, step by step
Each slot is one message to the bot: send the post, pick the time, confirm. After that, /queue shows what is waiting.
- Write all ten posts first. Draft them in a note so you can compare them side by side and catch repeats before anything is scheduled.
- Sitting 1, Friday 20 November. Open @auto_x_schedule_bot, send /schedule, send post 1 with its image, and pick Monday 23 November at 09:00. Repeat for posts 2 to 5. All five fall within 7 days.
- Check /queue. Read each time in the list and compare it with the plan. A wrong time is easier to fix now than at 08:00 on Black Friday.
- Sitting 2, Monday 23 November. Schedule posts 6 to 10 the same way. Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday are now inside the 7-day window.
- Leave the replies to a person. Auto X publishes and tells you when each post is live, but answering questions about your offer is still your job.

What to write in each slot
Every slot should say something new. Rewording the same promo ten times is what makes sale-week accounts look automated, and X's rules treat repeated identical posts as spam.
- Teaser: the date and one benefit, no price yet. People follow to find out.
- Early access: one link and a reason followers get it first.
- Launch: the offer, the end date and the link. Put the deadline in plain words.
- Reminder: a different angle on the same offer, such as a use case, a question you were asked, or a before-and-after.
- Last call: hours left and the same link. Keep it short.
- Thank-you: no pitch, just what happens next for buyers.
X's automation rules allow scheduled posts but ban automated replies and mentions sent to people who didn't ask, posting the same content across several accounts, and stuffing in trending hashtags. Our summary of what the X automation rules allow and ban goes through each one.
Four mistakes that break a sale-week queue
Most sale-week problems come from changes made after the posts were scheduled, not from the scheduling itself.
| Mistake | Why it happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Times shifted by an hour | Clocks changed on 25 October in Europe and 1 November in the US, between planning and posting | Plan after the change and check every time in /queue |
| Wrong price or end date | The offer changed after the post was queued | Cancel and reschedule the affected posts the same day |
| Broken or bare link | The sale page wasn't live yet, or it redirects | Publish the sale page first and open every link once |
| A post never went out | X connection expired or the media limit was reached | Reconnect with /connect and keep images under the plan limit |
If a post is still missing, our list of reasons a scheduled post didn't go out on X covers the other causes. Changing a post after it is queued is covered in how to edit or delete a scheduled post on X.
X's own scheduler or a Telegram bot for sale week?
Both can run this plan. The choice comes down to where you write and how far ahead you need to schedule.
| X's scheduler | Auto X in Telegram | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it works | The x.com composer; Sprout Social notes scheduling is on desktop, not in the mobile app | Any phone or computer with Telegram |
| How far ahead | Up to 18 months, per Sprout Social | 7 days on the free plan; paid plans list extended limits |
| Recurring posts | No | Loops on Pro and Ultra |
| Cost | Free | Free plan; Pro and Ultra by subscription |
If you plan sale week on a laptop weeks ahead, X's scheduler is fine. If you write on your phone between other jobs, the Telegram route is quicker. Either way, the two-sitting plan above still works. You can try it on the Auto X free plan.
FAQ
How many posts should I schedule on X for Black Friday?
Three to five on Black Friday itself is a common range, with one or two a day in the run-up. Fewer posts that each say something different do better than many repeats.
Can I schedule Cyber Monday posts a week before?
Yes, if your tool allows it. On Auto X's free plan the window is 7 days, so a Cyber Monday post can be scheduled from Monday 23 November.
Is it against X's rules to schedule sale posts?
No. Scheduling your own posts is allowed. What X bans is spam behaviour, such as identical repeated posts, automated unsolicited replies and hashtag stuffing.
What time zone should sale posts use?
The time zone of the buyers you most want to reach. Check the times again after the clocks change in late October and early November.
